For some reason a variety of former athletes feel that they have to prove themselves to the world that they still have what it takes by taking part in one of the world’s most difficult sports - boxing. Tiger Woods was afraid that his injured left knee would keep him from finishing the long 72 holes that make up the U.S. Open. However, he was able to get a chance to finish 18 more at the famous Torrey Pines course.

The two played alongside the ‘Today’ host Matt Lauer and an average guy from Omaha, Nebraska. The four of them were trying to prove Tiger Woods wrong when he said that only a pro can beat the course.
