Faulk Ends His Career In Football

Marshall Faulk was unable to play last season due to a knee injury that threatened to end his career. He will officially end his playing days for football on Monday when he announces his retirement at the NFL owners meetings. Faulk was the NFL Most Valuable Player in 2000 and Offensive Player of the Year three years running from 1999-2001. The 34-year-old was a big help for the Rams to let them win their only Super Bowl after the ‘99 season. He is ninth on the career rushing list with 12,279 yards and tied for sixth with 100 rushing touchdowns.

School In Alabama Brings Hockey To Life

A little school from Alabama makes it all the way to the NCAA hockey tournament as the longtime coach prepares to skate off into the sunset. Florida Marlins May Not Get New Stadium

The plans that were made for a $500 million baseball stadium for the Florida Marlins in downtown Miami was thrown a sharp curve Tuesday as Miami-Dade County commissioners decided to put the Orange Bowl back in play. Led by Commissioner Joe Martinez, the panel argued at a proposal that was being pushed by Mayor Carlos Alvarez and County Manager George Burgess to build a stadium on 9 acres of government-owned land on Northwest Third Street.

Bowyer Damages Vehicle During Crash Test

As we enter into this week’s two-day Car of Tomorrow test session at Bristol Motor Speedway, the No. 1 question on that everyone was asking was how the spec car’s front splitter would react to damage. Clint Bowyer answered that question firsthand Thursday morning. Bowyer was in the middle of a long run and was nearly ready to bring his No. 07 Chevrolet back to pit road when he lost it in Turn 4 and hit the wall.
