It seemed that Tiger Woods would be defeated at the Accenture Match Play Championship – but with a bit of strategy and his excellent game playing he was able to win by a slim victory. With only five holes left he was 3-down against American player J.B. Holmes. He chose to stick to his short game over the last four holes – which helped him to pull ahead.
Billionaire Mark Cuban is the owner of the famed Dallas Mavericks and the HDNet cable station. He is in the process of filing a lawsuit against the UFC pertaining to the status of the broadcasting and promotional contract for Randy Couture.

Richard Zednik – forward for the Panthers had to endure an hour of surgery to reconnect his carotid artery on Sunday night. He is currently in the intensive care unit – but in stable condition. He was admitted to Buffalo General Hospital Sunday night after he was accidentally cut on the right side of his throat by his teammate Olli Jokinen during the third period.
Last night we held our breaths in anticipation to see who would take home the glory. We thought for sure that after an incredible winning season the Patriots would try their hardest to take home the final glory of the season and a chance to enter into the history books of football.
