The owner of Imperialcars.com - Kevin Meehan - was the winner of the No. 32 David Ortiz jersey. “I actually thought it was going to sell for more money,” said Meehan, who bid only in the final moments of the weeklong eBay auction that ended at 12:30 p.m. “I have three young boys that I take to the games and they would have killed me if I didn’t buy the shirt.”

Chuck Liddell Pulls Out Of Fight Due To Injury

Carmelo Anthony – the star forward for the Denver Nuggets – was arrested on Monday for an alleged DUI (driving under the influence). The Denver police reported that at four in the morning Anthony was driving south on I-25 when he was pulled over and detained.

Venus Williams To Take Break From Tennis

Venus Williams – the six times Grand Slam champion – has decided to take a cooling off period for reasons unknown. “I’ve just been having some issues that I need to resolve, so I’m working on that at the moment and I’m hoping to be back playing as soon as possible,” Williams said Tuesday at the Bausch & Lomb Championships. “I’m not going to get any further into it, but of course I love the sport.”
