Professional Tennis Player Justine Henin To Retire

At 25 years old Justine Henin has been ranked as the best player in the world. Yet, recently she has been showing serious signs of fatigue and her game has been off. This is the reason for her quitting professional tennis.

This year alone she has lost to Maria Sharapova, Francesca Schiavone, and Serena Williams. On top of this she was pulled out of the Berlin Open during the third round and she dropped out of the Italian Open this week.

Venus Williams To Take Break From Tennis

Venus Williams – the six times Grand Slam champion – has decided to take a cooling off period for reasons unknown. “I’ve just been having some issues that I need to resolve, so I’m working on that at the moment and I’m hoping to be back playing as soon as possible,” Williams said Tuesday at the Bausch & Lomb Championships. “I’m not going to get any further into it, but of course I love the sport.”
