Mayweather Jr. To Earn $20 Mil On WWE WrestleMania Event
Floyd Mayweather Jr. has made his mark among the wrestling community as being a short – but well earned title fighter. That strength and ability will be tested as he faces his biggest challenge yet – Big Show. The two will face off during WWE’s WrestleMania XXIV on March 30th in Orlando, Florida.
While the fight will likely feature few of the skills Mayweather has displayed inside a boxing ring the payday will certainly be reflective of a top-notch pay-per-view event. Mayweather will be getting $20 million for his appearance.
Mayweather is facing a man that stands 7-feet and weighs more than 430 pounds. That’s a slight advantage over Mayweather’s 5-foot-8- frame. Mayweather thought little of the size differential at a news conference at the Staples Center on Monday when he said, “I run Vegas and I run L.A. and I will run the WWE.”
